ENMU recognized in Niche.com college rankings

PORTALES – Eastern New Mexico University has been recognized nationally and statewide in the Niche.com 2024 Best College Rankings released last week.

Niche.com is a website designed to help college-bound students in their choice of colleges and universities.

Nationally, ENMU is ranked in the top 15% of universities in ten different categories. For the state of New Mexico, ENMU is ranked either first or second in nine different categories.

The highest national ranking for ENMU in the 2024 Niche.com rankings was as third-best in online colleges in the nation.

The highest New Mexico rankings for ENMU include being recognized as the college with the best academics in the state and as the best college for education in the state.

ENMU national rankings include:

• Third of 265 best online colleges in America

• Eighth of 140 best colleges for culinary arts in America

• 16th of 706 best colleges for criminal justice in America

• 17th of 405 best Hispanic serving institutions in America

• 25th of 684 best colleges with no application fee in America

• 52nd of 968 best small colleges in America

• 75th of 601 top public universities in America

• 113th of 1,363 best college dorms in America

• 142nd of 1,543 colleges with best academics in America

• 177th of 1,537 best colleges in America
