Habitat for Humanity of Curry and Roosevelt counties will have the grand opening of its Restore Christmas Store at 10 a.m. today.
The announcement came in a social media posting last week.
Restore Manager Marge Rhode said the store will be in Portales in the red caboose on U.S. 70 in Portales next to the Portales Daylight Donuts.
“We’ll have trees, ornaments, home décor, Christmas gifts, mugs, exterior decorations and such,” Rhode said.
The store will be open until Dec. 16. Its usual hours will be Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Today is the only Wednesday the store will be open this season, according to Rhode.
