“Shell Beach” by Davis Bunn. Noah Hearst is leaving a life he’s spent twelve years building. Professionally, a losing battle for his job after a hostile takeover. Personally, signing away his marriage in a split that was a long time coming. Now, the difficult part: deciding who he is, what he wants, and where to go next. Maybe it’s time to realize a dream that’s carried him through hard times: owning a boat. Traveling the ocean, exploring new ports, embracing the endless horizon. Blissful. Impractical. Impossible? For now, the dream alone gives Noah the strength to move forward.

“The Vampire Lestat” by Anne Rice. The vampire hero of Anne Rice’s enthralling novel is a creature of the darkest and richest imagination. Once an aristocrat in the heady days of pre-revolutionary France, now a rock star in the demonic, shimmering 1980s, he rushes through the centuries in search of others like him, seeking answers to the mystery of his eternal, terrifying exsitence. His is a mesmerizing story—passionate, complex, and thrilling.

“Things We Left Behind” by Lucy Score. Lucian Rollins is a lean, mean vengeance-seeking mogul. On a quest to erase his abusive father’s mark on the family name, he spends every waking minute pulling strings and building his empire. The more money and power he gains, the safer he feels. Except when it comes to one feisty small-town librarian. Bonded by an old, dark secret from the past and their current mutual disdain, Sloane Walton trusts Lucian about as far as she can throw his designer-suited body. When bickering accidentally turns to foreplay, the flames are fanned, and it’s impossible to put them out again. But with Sloane more than ready to start a family and Lucian refusing to even consider the idea of marriage and kids, these enemies-to-lovers are stuck at an impasse. Until Lucian learns the hard way that leaving Sloane is impossible―the very least he can do is to keep her safe.

“Frontier Teachers” by Chris Enss. If countless books and movies are to be believed, America’s Wild West was, at heart, a world of cowboys and Indians, sheriffs and gunslingers, scruffy settlers and mountain men. Here, Chris Enss, in the latest of her popular books to take on this stereotype, tells the stories of twelve courageous women who faced down schoolrooms full of children on the open prairies and in the mining towns of the Old West.

“Flavcity’s 5 Ingredient Meals” by Bobby Parrish & Dessi Parrish. An introduction to easy meals and cooking. Cooking doesn’t have to be complicated. Food Network champion Bobby Parrish shares the ins and outs of their 5-ingredient meals and assures us his quick and easy dinner recipes are doable for all. By keeping the recipes to five ingredients, Bobby demonstrates just how easy cooking can be. From savory snacks to easy weeknight dinners packed with flavor, this easy (and healthy!) recipe book is just what your kitchen needs. But Bobby and Dessi’s tips don’t stop there―they know that a key aspect of these simple healthy recipes is the prep work at the grocery store beforehand.

“The Last Ride of the Pony Express” by Will Grant. The Pony Express was a fast-horse frontier mail service that spanned the American West. While in operation during the 1860s, it carried letter mail on a blistering ten-day schedule between Missouri and San Francisco, running through a vast and mostly uninhabited wilderness. Will Grant captures the spirit of the West in a way that few writers have.
