Two new City Council members in Portales
Christine Williams of Portales carefully reads her ballot while voting on Tuesday. Williams said issues that motivated her to vote include a cleaner city, especially removal of trash in the alleyways around town.
Incumbents Terry Martin and Paul Cordova kept their positions on the Clovis Municipal Schools board of directors following Tuesday's elections.
