Education Foundation awards $28,000 in grants

The Clovis Municipal Schools Education Foundation last week announced it is awarding $28,279 in teacher grants to nine schools this year.

The Foundation Grants program is designed to encourage, facilitate, recognize, and reward innovative and creative instructional approaches to the accomplishment of classroom program objectives, the Foundation stated in a news release. “The idea is to provide additional funds for those projects not covered by conventional funding.”
