Area Chamber wins state award

The Clovis-Curry County Chamber of Commerce’s “Heartfelt Connections” digital campaign won an award at the recent Top HAT Awards Gala in Albuquerque.

According to a Chamber news release the event is “ the premier awards ceremony of the travel, tourism, and lodging industry in New Mexico” hosted by the New Mexico Hospitality Association.

The release reported staff from the Chamber went to the event held at the Sheraton Uptown Albuquerque.

Winners were recognized in many platforms including marketing, product development, personnel, and other categories.

The release noted the Chamber was nominated for its work with New Mexico True, using “Clovis’ fondness for community in an artistic and captivating digital marketing campaign.”

According to the release nearly 7 million impressions were made on the campaign “with a strong click-through rate above industry benchmarks.” Also noted were over 30,000 website sessions and over 500,000 social media engagements.
