Aug. 27, 1946 - Nov. 2, 2023

Midland - Dannie Boliver, a beloved member of our community, passed away on November 2nd,

2023, leaving a legacy of steadfast strength and unforgettable memories. Dannie's life was a testament to the power of hard work, dedication, and the lasting impact one person can have on those around them. A memorial gathering to celebrate Dannie's life will be held on November 6th at Nalley-Pickle and Welch Funeral Home and Crematory.

Dannie was born on August 27, 1946, to Robert and Clara (Waldine) Miller Boliver in Clovis, New Mexico. As the youngest son of seven, Dannie was blessed with a big family. Growing up, he was instilled with a strong work ethic, a love for the outdoors, and a deep connection to the land and family.

Dannie was a relentless force, even being a man of few words, and those who knew him loved him well. A truck driver by trade, Dannie's heart was always on the family farm. Dannie toiled under the sun and the stars, working the land with the unwavering commitment and resilience of those who make their living from the soil. Dannie's calloused hands and weathered face were a testament to his tireless efforts to nurture the earth and provide for his family. Dannie's love for farming extended beyond the fields and directly impacted the lives of his family.

Dannie's most cherished role, however, and one which he held close to his heart, was that of a father. He was seen as the pillar of silent strength for his children, Dan, Shannon, and Missy as they grew, and he instilled in them, through his actions, the values of hard work, discipline, and perseverance. He inspired and steadfastly supported their strive for greatness. His dedication to family and the land created an unbreakable bond that will continue to thrive in the generations he leaves behind.

Dannie is survived by his wife of 42 years, Anita (Neat); his children Danny (Dan) Boliver Jr. and wife Wendy, Shannon Davis, and Missy Schenkman and husband Joey; grandchildren Cody Boliver, Katie Boliver, and Tyler Davis, great grandchildren Remington Boliver and Paislee Davis; brother Jimmy Boliver; sisters Clara (Sissy) McNeil and Mary Porter, as well as a wide circle of family, friends, and a farming community who knew him as an unwavering guardian of the land and a dedicated truck driver. He is preceded in death by both parents, Robert and Clara, and siblings Robert (Bobby) Boliver, Clarence Dale Boliver, and Terry Bartel.

As we say our final goodbyes to Dannie, let us remember him as a devoted farmer, a dedicated truck driver, a loving husband, and a caring father. His memory will forever endure in the fields he cultivated, the roads he traveled, and the lives he touched. In Dannie's honor, may we continue to appreciate the hardworking and resilient spirit of those who serve our farms and communities, and may he rest in peace as he travels along heaven's highways.
