Roswell newspaper reducing frequency

ROSWELL — The Roswell Daily Record next year will reduce its frequency to three days per week in print and five days per week online, according to Publisher Barbara Beck.

“With the changing times, starting Jan. 3, 2024, we are reducing our print publication to Wednesday, Friday and Sunday while continuing our online presence with a five-day e-edition publication. We are maintaining our commitment to providing you with uninterrupted service.”

The newspaper will also discontinue its Sunday comics section beginning Dec. 17.

“This decision was made considering the high costs associated with its production and printing,” Beck wrote.
