Obituary: Mary Anne Jones

The world loss a precious jewel with the passing of Mary Anne Jones on December 7, 2023, at the age of 92 in Edmond, OK. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Clarence Jones Jr. and son Charles "Mike" Jones. She is survived by her daughter, Laurie (Jones) Cunningham, son-in-law, Kevin Cunningham, daughter-in-law, Rachel Jones, four grandchildren, Drew Cunningham, Ross Cunningham, Robbi (Jones) Persac, and Christopher Jones. Her legacy will continue through her ten great grandchildren. Mary Anne taught for 28 years in the Clovis Public Schools where she made a lasting impression on every student. She loved her family and friends with all her heart and soul and showed Christ's love to everyone she met. Her passion for travel took her around the world and her love for people compelled her to volunteer at her church, hospital and school for over 15 years. She always loved returning to Clovis each summer to reunite with friends. Services will be held at Henderson Hills Baptist Church in Edmond on January 19th, 2024 at 10:30 am.
