When will the new senior center at Hillcrest Park begin serving meals?
The Hillcrest Senior Life Center, as the new senior center at Hillcrest Park is called, has no opening date set yet, according to Clovis’ Senior Services Director Barbara Riggan.
“Construction is 99% complete, however we are waiting for kitchen equipment to arrive and a few little things that still need to be done,” Riggan wrote in an email.
According to Riggan the proposed planning and serving of meals at the new center is in the hands of the Curry Resident Senior Meals Association.
Riggan wrote CRSMA “is their own 501 (c)(3) entity and they lease part of the building to provide the senior meal program.”
