Portales VFW named business of the month

VFW Post #9515 in Portales was selected as The Roosevelt County Chamber of Commerce “Business of the Month” for January.

According to a news release from the Chamber, The Post along with the Post Auxiliary, was able to open up its free annual Christmas Day dinner to the community when it was apparent there were no other options for such a meal that day.
