Obituary: Teddy R. Blair III (Trae)

Teddy R. Blair III (Trae), age 34, passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2024. Visitation will be held at Muffley Funeral Home, 1430 N Thornton St. in Clovis, NM, on Thursday, April 18, 2024, from 1:00 to 6:00 PM. Services will be held Friday, April 19, 2024, at 11:00 AM at The Chapel, 1500 Thornton St. in Clovis.

He was born to Ted Blair and Dolores (Chavez) on August 9, 1989, in Portales, NM. Trae married his wife, Tori (Teague), in Portales, NM on July 11, 2020. He loved spending time with his family and enjoyed riding his motorcycle. He was a wonderful father, son, and husband, and would do anything for his children.

Trae is survived by his spouse, Tori Blair of the home, and their children Sophia and Malakai.

He leaves behind his parents, Ted (Carolyn) Blair of Portales, NM, and Dolores Chavez of Clovis, NM; two brothers, Domenic Blair (O'Brianne Wheeler) of Henderson, NV, and Gage Blair of Las Cruces, NM, and his grandmother, Elise Blair.

He is preceded in death by two grandfathers, George Chavez and Teddy Blair, a grandmother, Fulgencia Mondragon Chavez, his aunt Kelly Brusven and uncle, Robert Chavez.

He will be forever loved and missed by his family and close friends.
