Stanton Optical will be opening a location in Clovis soon on the west side of the 1600 block of North Prince Street.
Angela Cobb, Lubbock brand manager with Stanton Optical, said the corporation plans on opening the Clovis location between June and July this year.
Stanton Optical specializes in eyeglasses, contacts and eye exams.
“We have free eye exams with eyeglass purchase and we pride ourselves on meeting everyone’s budgets so everyone can have glasses,” Cobb said.
The corporation, based out of Dallas, has over 300 locations across the country including Amarillo, Lubbock, Albuquerque, Santa Fe, Las Cruces, Midland, Odessa and El Paso.
Pete Wilt, director of Building Safety Department for the city of Clovis said Stanton Optical recently requested city licensure and zoning information from Wilt’s department.
