Serving Clovis, Portales and the Surrounding Communities
The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Curry County until 10 p.m. Tuesday.
NWS reports the storm has produced 60 mph wind gusts and ping pong ball sized hail.
"People and animals outdoors will be injured," NWS reported. "Expect hail damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding and trees."
The communities of Clovis, Grady, Ranchvale, Broadview, Wheatland, Bellview, St. Vrain, Pleasant Hill and Forrest are in the path of the storm.
