Work planned for Mabry-Norris intersection

Workers will be repairing the traffic signal at Mabry Drive and Norris Street beginning at 8 a.m. Monday in Clovis, city officials said in a news release.

“Bixby Electric will be closing the right turn lane going east to install a new base for the traffic signal,” the news release stated. Work is expected to continue through Wednesday.

The intersection has been controlled by four-way stop signs since a truck crashed into the base a few weeks ago, City Manager Justin Howalt said.
