Q: What are some pool rules everyone needs to know before visiting?

A: No street clothes are permitted. You must wear a swimsuit. No water rings, all personal flotation devices must be U.S. Coast Guard approved.

Children under 48 inches in height must be supervised by an adult within arm’s reach at all times. Children in puddle jumpers must be within arm’s reach of a parent/guardian at all times.

Anyone under the age of 15 must have a guardian over the age of 16 (with ID) to be at any of the aquatic venues, and unaccompanied minors are not allowed.

Q: What about safety tips?

A: Protect your skin and wear sunscreen. Watch your children closely. Always jump feet first unless you have passed your swim test and you can dive in the deep end.

Q: How many lifeguards are on duty at all times?

A: Based on availability, six is preferred. Patron entry is based on guard availability, which is 25 patrons to one guard.

Q: What training must a lifeguard have before working at the pool?

A: All lifeguards are American Red Cross certified and taught by certified American Red Cross lifeguard instructors.

Q: Is there an age limit on who should be swimming?

A: Parents with children under the age of 6 months need to watch out for light blue color on skin and lips, as infants under the age of 6 months are unable to regulate body temperature and will get cold quickly. The same goes for being in the sun as they can get hot as well.

Q: Can people bring food/drinks?

A: Yes. Patrons are allowed to bring in food and drinks with the exception of no glass containers and no alcohol.

Q: Can the pool be rented for private parties?

A: The pool can be rented, but there is limited availability.

Q: How much?

A: $150 every two hours for 40 people
