Clovis Municipal Schools has two new principals.
Longtime CMS educator and administrator Pamela Estock is the new boss at Lockwood Early Childhood Center. Tara Gillins-Hubbarb, a former New Jersey educator, is the new principal at James Bickley Elementary, according to CMS news releases.
Estock has spent 17 years within the CMS district. The release states her career began in 2007, when she was hired as a preschool special education teacher. She later became a reading specialist at the Academy of Arts at Bella Vista and Sandia Elementary school, and assistant principal at Yucca Middle School. She was also a third-grade teacher at Highland Elementary.
Estock holds a master’s degree in education from Eastern New Mexico University, where she also completed her undergraduate work.
Gillins-Hubbarb was the New Jersey Educator of the Year for 2022-23 and has been an elementary school teacher for nearly a decade, according to the news release.
Gillins-Hubbard holds a master’s degree in educational leadership from The College of New Jersey, and a bachelor of criminal justice degree from Rowan University.
Both women will begin their new roles over the summer in preparation for the school year that begins in August.
