Home reality show coming to Clovis

The experience of a lifetime.

That's how Realtor Tammy Waters described working on the HGTV reality show House Hunters. The episode called "Space to Showcase in New Mexico" will show Waters helping Vinny Hall find a place to live.

It airs at 8 p.m. Thursday.

"A single buyer looks to move so he can be closer to family in Clovis," the show notes report.

"He's looking for a stylish bungalow with space for all his stuff, but he may need to get out of his comfort zone and price range in order to find the right place."

Though Waters was limited in her ability to offer details by a non-disclosure agreement, she said she enjoyed building a bond with Hall and was mesmerized by the show's sophisticated production process. That included being wowed by the sound guy. 

"He had this big contraption and their equipment was also heavy," said Waters, her bracelets clicking and clunking while imitating an invisible sound board. 

When asked if she felt pressure knowing this appearance could boost her profile, Waters said she just tried to be herself. 

"I want to be portrayed as a professional, but fun. That's how I live my life and I hope that it comes across," said Waters, "... And every time we were filming, I just thought like this is the real deal."

Waters said Hall wanted a home that would be comfortable for his mom.

"We became fast friends in such a short period of time," Hall told The News about his working relationship with Waters.

"I'm so glad I got to be the one that you worked with," Waters told Hall. 

"Me too," Hall replied. "I can't wait for everyone just to see our dynamic together."
