The Josh Abbott Band, A.J. Castillo and Jaime Deanda will headline the Curry County Fair entertainment in August.
“The entertainment is booked and ready to go,” Curry County Fairgrounds and Events Center General Manager K. C. Messick told Curry County commissioners on Tuesday.
The fair is scheduled Aug. 13-17.
“Hispanic Heritage Night is Aug. 15. The show features A. J. Castillo with special guest Jaime Deanda,” Messick said.
A “Battle of the Bands” featuring six bands is set for Aug. 16, Messick said.
“Country Music Night is Aug. 17 with the Josh Abbott Band,” Messick said.
The concerts will be in the Events Center, the Battle of the Bands will be on the Pavilion Outdoor Stage.
Messick said Wright’s Amusements will return to the midway as it has for years.
“Wright’s has new rides,” Messick said.
Messick said there will be “dollar-a-ride” night Aug. 15 and $25 wristband night Aug. 16.
Midway wristbands are $35 other nights.
