A “water service disruption” is planned from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday for parts of Portales.
A city news release reports potentially affected areas will be North Avenue, North Avenue B and West Avenue B. Surrounding areas could also be affected as well between West Lime Street to West Hickory Street.
The disruption is necessary to perform essential maintenance, the news release stated.
Low water pressure may occur before and after the water is shut off, and “some water discoloration may occur,” the release stated.
