Opinion: Communists would be proud of Dems

Some wag once remarked there are 100 people in America who honestly believe they are more than qualified to be president of the United States. These people are called United States senators. Kamala Harris used to be one of them.

Having said that, let’s look at what is happening in the Democrat Party, their presidential nomination and their coming convention.

If you listened to President Biden’s short speech as to why he stepped down from his certain lock on the nomination, you were treated to the classic Biden campaign oration. His speech was laundry list what he thought were his accomplishments as president and what he intended to accomplish in his remaining time in the White House.

If all these things were true, and most voting Democrats must have agreed because he was overwhelmingly nominated, why was Biden forced out of nomination?

Nothing was mentioned or alluded to about Biden’s physical or mental decline.

The current narrative has Biden stepping down “for the good of the country” and some pundits were almost in tears as they proclaimed that Joe had just wrought the highest patriotic gesture they had ever witnessed.

In fact, as reported by Reuters in an article by Gabriella Borter and Bianca Flowers, the group Black Lives Matter noted that, “Following the primary where millions of Black voters weighed in, after one poor debate performance, the DNC Party elites and billionaire donors bullied Joe Biden out of the race.”

Additionally, Seymour Hersh reports that Barack Obama, in collusion with Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries, threatened Biden with Article 25 of the U.S. Constitution if he did not step down. If it’s true that party elites and elected officials believed Biden could be creditably removed from office via Article 25 – which provides for replacing the president in the event of incapacitation -- why is he still the president of the United States?

For the previous three plus years, the media in all forms have disparaged Kamala Harris incessantly. The current press would like you to believe that Kamala has blossomed into the Wizard of Washington.

It’s almost as if she were Don Deigo de la Vega who will transform herself into Zorro just in time to save the day. Joe was pushed aside and Kamala was anointed because Joe couldn’t beat Trump. Neither can Kamala.

The old Politburo of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union would be proud of the way the Democrat Party has handled their Biden/Harris problem.
