Clovis seeking committee volunteers

The city of Clovis has the following board and committee vacancies, according to a city news release:

• Three vacancies on the Economic Incentive Board for a citizen representative from District 1, a citizen representative from District 3 and an industry representative (i.e. manufacturing, warehousing and transportation). The EIB meets quarterly at 8:30 a.m. on the second Wednesday of the month to make recommendations regarding economic development programs and prospects to the Clovis City Commission. 

• One citizen representative and one student representative to serve on the Clovis-Carver Public Library Board.  The board meets quarterly on the last Monday of the month at 5:30 p.m. at the Clovis-Carver Library.

• One vacancy on the Lodgers Tax Advisory Board for a representative from the Hotel Industry. The board meets at 5:30 p.m. every other month at the North Annex, Clovis-Carver Library.
