Assessor: Property profile costs $1

Curry County Assessor Sam Kelley is alerting area residents that their Property Assessment Profile can be purchased through the assessor’s office for $1.

Kelley said a private company is offering the same service for $123.

“The company does not appear to be doing anything that is technically illegal,” Kelley said, but he wants taxpayers to know there are cheaper options for those needing a comprehensive report of their property.
