Editor's Journal: Wednesday's paper has Pigskin Pick 'Em

Are you ready for some football loot?

The Pigskin Pick 'Em contest, hosted by The Eastern New Mexico News and radio stations KCLV and KTQM, is under way.

Each week, you can win a $50 gift card from Juanito's Mexican Restaurant. You'll also have a chance to win $500 in cash at the end of the 12-week season.

All you need is an entry form -- in each Wednesday edition of the newspaper -- and knowledge of pro and major college football. Pick the teams you think will win, bring the entry form to the newspaper office at 521 Pile St. in Clovis, and wait for the food and cash to come your way.

OK, you don't actually need any knowledge about football. Sometimes luck works just as good. But you do need a Wednesday newspaper, available at Allsup's, Stripes, Walmart, local grocery stores, the newspaper office and on your doorstep with a subscription. Deadline to enter each week is 5 p.m. Friday.
