The Democratic Party of Roosevelt County has announced days and hours of operation.
According to a DPRC news release, the headquarters in Portales are at 604 E. Second St., in the little red caboose. It will be open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesdays and Saturdays. The release reports hours and days of operation will increase in October.
Members at the HQ are encouraging voter registration for anyone. Other activities include phone banking along with preparing postcards to send to “battleground states.”
The release also notes yard signs are available for a suggested donation.
Angie Smith, Roosevelt County Republican Party chair, said the Roosevelt County Republican headquarters are open from noon to 3 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays and open from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursdays.
The HQ is in The Rough Riders Room of the James Polk Stone Bank, across the street from the main building at 109 E. Second St. in Portales.
“People can come check out the merchandise we have and information on candidates. Pull up a chair and visit,” Smith said.
