Serving Clovis, Portales and the Surrounding Communities
A water line break at Clovis Regional Airport left passengers without restroom facilities on Thursday morning. Water was restored by mid-afternoon, according to a city news release.
"Currently, the water is turned off ... while EPCOR works to repair the line," the news release issued at 10:12 a.m. read.
"While the incident may cause temporary inconveniences, we want to assure the community that Clovis Regional Airport remains operational, and flights are proceeding
as scheduled.
"Passengers are advised that restroom services will not be available after the TSA checkpoint until they board the aircraft. Accommodations, including portable restroom
facilities, are currently being worked on."
A water main break at the airport also caused “temporary inconveniences” for two days in January. Flights also remained on schedule and the airport remained operational at that time.
