Serving Clovis, Portales and the Surrounding Communities
The Roosevelt County Chamber of Commerce has named Western Commerce Bank as its Business of the Month for October.
According to a Chamber news release, the bank has been “very active in numerous Chamber activities and committees.”
“Most recently they were a sponsor for Military Appreciation Day at (Eastern New Mexico University), which included a tailgate with Air Force families where they gave out free Greyhound shirts before the game,” the release reports.
It was also noted Western Commerce Bank is also active in Leadership Portales and Ambassadors.
The Chamber also named The Portales Beautification Project as “Volunteers of the Month” for October.
The group donated time weeding and cleaning up Portales city parks and other public property “in order to put a positive foot forward for the community.”
Mike Davidson, involved in the project, invited folks to become part of the group and volunteer.
Davidson urges citizens to like and follow the group’s Facebook page for meet-up times.
