Newest Retail Rockstar honored

CMB Garage Doors has been named the Clovis-Curry County Chamber of Commerce’s newest Retail Rockstar following a nomination from One Stop Feed.

CMB was honored with the award at its Clovis business location Thursday at North Prince Street and Wilhite Road.

The Clovis location is one of many serving the Southwest including eastern New Mexico, West Texas and Arizona.

New Sonic Drive-in coming soon

Construction in the 1000th block of Portales’ North Chicago Avenue is for the new location of the town’s Sonic Drive-in.

“It will probably be open in late December,” Claudia Pietrzak said. She is one of the restaurant’s managers.

She said the current Sonic location may become a different restaurant.
