Two wanted on drug charges

Two people are facing drug charges after law officers conducted a raid in the 2100 block of Belair Road on Friday.

Agents found an ounce of heroin, 14 grams of methamphetamine, fentanyl pills and several firearms in the raid, Clovis police stated in a news release.

Following the execution of a search warrant, authorities issued arrest warrants for Ignacio Gallegos, 44, and Amber Martinez, 33. Gallegos faces trafficking charges; Martinez is accused of distribution of a controlled substance.

Neither suspect has been arrested. Police are asking anyone knowing their whereabouts contact authorities at 575-769-1921.

"The execution of this search warrant was a culmination of an investigation started after the department received several anonymous tip411 tips regarding possible drug activity in the area," police stated in the news release.
