CANYON – Canyon Randall handed Farwell’s girls their first loss of the season on Saturday, posting a 62-53 victory.
The Lady Blue (2-1) hung within four points of their Class 4A opponent through three quarters before the Lady Pirates outscored them 17-12 in the final stanza.
Senior Makylee Baldwin scored 22 points for Farwell, while seniors Natalie Wade and Kennady Waldrop chipped in 11 apiece.
Farwell returned to action on Tuesday night at Lubbock Liberty. The Lady Blue return to action next Tuesday at Shallowater.
