LUBBOCK – Farwell’s girls held Lubbock Liberty to 12 second-half points and cruised to a 59-35 win over the Lady Patriots on Tuesday night.
The Lady Blue (3-1) broke the game wide open by outscoring Class 4A Liberty 14-3 in the final stanza.
Senior Landri Richey went 10-of-14 from the field – 10-of-12 inside the arc – and finished with 21 points for Farwell. Meantime, senior Bella Jaime added 15 points and was a perfect 8-of-8 from the foul line.
Farwell returns to action on Tuesday night when it plays at Shallowater.
