Clovis auto parts store not on closure list

Advance Auto Parts plans to close 727 stores across the country due to low demand for vehicle parts, according to an article from USA Today.

But Clovis’ Advance Auto Parts Manager Zak Casarez said Monday his store is not slated for closure.

The corporate announcement happened after the company's third-quarter report was released Thursday.

Advance’s gross profit increased 11% in the third quarter this year compared to a nearly 37% increase in third quarter 2023, according to the USA Today article.

Closures will take place by the middle of 2025.
