Fire destroys two structures in Clovis

A Sunday night fire destroyed an empty trailer and empty recreational vehicle in the 300 block of Dawn Loop in Clovis, said Deputy Fire Chief Terrance Lizardo.

No one was injured in the blaze officials said appeared to have been caused intentionally. Lizardo said security footage in the neighborhood showed someone throwing a Molotov cocktail, or a hand-thrown incendiary device, into one of the structures.

The fire was reported at 9:34 p.m., Lizardo said. Firefighters left the scene at 1:30 a.m. Monday.
