*Winter Letters and Farolitos Tour – 5-9 p.m., Bosque Redondo Memorial at Fort Sumner Historic Site, 3647 Billy the Kid Drive, Fort Sumner. Tickets $7 adults; free for children 16 and under and tribal members. Half-mile walk with more than 1,000 farolitos. Staff will share archival military correspondence and oral histories from the Diné (Navajo) and Ndé (Mescalero Apache) to tell stories about the people who once lived at the site. Visitors chose between one-hour ranger-guided tour from 6-7 p.m., or self-guided audio tours at any time.
