CHS educator gets national award

Clovis High School’s Career and Education Program Coordinator Adrian Lucero has been selected as the Region IV Experienced Professional Fellow for the 2025 Association for Career and Technical Education National Leadership Fellowship Program.

According to a news release from Clovis Municipal Schools, the recognition “highlights Lucero’s dedication to career and technical education and his commitment to professional growth and leadership.”

The fellowship program is a yearlong initiative, running from January to December 2025.

The release notes the program engages educators across ACTE’s five regions and multiple divisions. Fellows participate in a variety of activities aimed at advancing CTE programming and advocacy.

Lucero said, “I am very thankful for all of the professional development and leadership opportunities that CMS has given me during my time in the district to prepare me for this.”
