Clovis EDC awarded $10,000 grant

The Clovis Economic Development Corp. has been awarded a $10,000 grant from the New Mexico Foundation’s Sustaining New Mexico Fund.

According to a news release from CED Executive Director Tina Dziuk, the funding will support CED’s business incubator program.

Dziuk described the program as “a key initiative to foster entrepreneurship and self-sufficiency within Curry County.”

“The Sustaining New Mexico Fund’s mission is to strengthen communities across the state by promoting social equity, supporting economic opportunities, and enhancing the overall quality of life for New Mexicans,” Dziuk said.

With the grant, CED will empower local entrepreneurs, providing them with the resources, training, and mentorship necessary to build sustainable businesses, according to the news release.

The CED’s business incubator program is designed to help startups and small businesses thrive by providing access to affordable office space, mentorship, networking opportunities, and business development resources.
